GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL CELL

The institution has a transparent mechanism for redressal of grievances like Ragging and Harassment of women. The grievance redressal aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as per requirement. The institution aims to resolve the grievances within the stipulated time. Students can submit their grievances offline and a grievance redressal box is kept for the same. In addition to grievance redressal cell, anti-ragging cell and a cell for prevention of harassment against women also exists. The Cell maintains a conducive and unprejudiced educational environment. All the complaints are scrutinized by the members of the Grievance Redressal Cell. The collective efforts of the Management, Principal, class teachers, the Grievance Redressal Cell help in resolving the complaints promptly and efficiently.

Objectives of Grievance Redressal Cell

  • To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
  • To uphold the dignity of the College by ensuring a strife free atmosphere in the College through promoting cordial Teacher -Student relationships and Student-student relationships.
  • To encourage the students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.

  • Guidelines for Institutional Grievance Redressal Mechanism Collegiate Student Grievance Redressal Committee (CSGRC) has been constituted under University Grants Commission (UGC), F. No. 14-4/2012 (CPP-II)
  • Our institution has a grievance redressal committee, which comprises of Principal- the chairperson, three members of the teaching staff acting as coordinators and the College Union Chairman.
  • The cell aims to hear, investigate and resolve the cases and complaints raised by students
  • Students have to submit a written petition duly signed by the student within 5 days of the commitment of the grievance.
  • The grievance redressal committee should study the incident based on documents and evidences.
  • The grievance will be resolved within 7 days.
  • If any of the members of the grievance redressal committee are involved in the occurrence of the grievance, the concerned member shall not participate in the deliberations of the case.
  • If any students have any complaint against the decision of the committee they can file a review petition before the Principal.
